A quieter weekend for the team saw runners at Kilmore and Wodonga, with minor placings recorded by Taupo Tiger and a solid first-up effort from Thunderbolt Way for the Symons and Laxon team.
All eyes now turn to the week ahead, with our seasoned campaigners resuming and a number of stable favourites set to return to the track.

We’re planning to take three horses to the Caulfield Heath trials on Thursday. These sessions provide a valuable hit-out for the horses, while also giving our trainers a clear indication of where each runner is at from a fitness and conditioning perspective. A quiet week of racing sets the stage for a busy Saturday, with four runners stepping out across Australia. We’ll have two representatives at Eagle Farm, headlined by the return of our stable star Knight’s Choice, alongside Winsome Star, who was brave in defeat at Caulfield last start. The team travelled to Queensland earlier in the week to give both horses every chance to settle into their new surroundings and the warmer conditions.
Back at Morphetville, McWoody continues to fly the flag for the stable, and we’ll be looking to make it three from three with the in-form Symons/Laxon galloper. Mission Of Love, who needs no introduction, holds nominations for both Morphettville and Flemington, and we’re excited to have her back at the races after an impressive start to her preparation.
